New to pellet grilling and NEED HELP!!!!

I recently picked up the outdoor gourmet pellet grill smoker from academy.  Got it home and it worked great through two cooks.  Then it kept throwing the GFI every couple min. Ended up blowing the fuse. So I pulled the hopper off and replaced the fuse. After re assembling the hopper and turning it back on my auger and fan do not work??? Display works and I can hear an audible "click" but the auger and fan never come on... Any ideas as to what could be the problem??? I appreciate any and all info and help.. Thanks!!!!!

Sounds like a controller gone bad.. Contact the manufacturer.

There is a thread somewhere here where I believe this issue has been brought up. I could be wrong. I will try to find it and post the link, unless someone finds out the info first.

There was a batch of the pellet grills that had a bad ignitor that would blow fuses. Call Academy customer service at 1-888-922-2336 and tell them about the problem and they should ship the part to you that would fix the problem. Worst case, take the grill back to Academy and either get one of the newer ones if they have it or your money back.

I work for Academy Sparky, and they have a customer service policy that is basically "no unhappy customers".
