Only 6 more weeks until summer

In my neck of the woods the tree pollen has hit.  The pic does not show the yellow color too well.  On the hood of my truck it looks like somebody shaved a tennis ball.  This usually means that summer is only about 6 weeks away (and lasts until Halloween).

Yeay!!  It was great being able to take the kids to the park and to be able to work in the yard this weekend.  Not quite spring weather, but it definitely wasn't winter weather.

ya, my apricot trees are blossoming.  no bueno.  way to early.  peaches trees are starting to blossom too.  glad i sprayed fungas cr@p in them.  i love my fruit trees.

I'm in Houston and I have to get out the garden hose every morning and rinse off my maroon car to get the yellow pollen off of it. (Yes, Tee, I said maroon car. Please, no jokes.) Can't wait til pollen season is over.

I have had to start up my allergy meds already, way to early, but gotta do what I gotta do. I even saw a hummingbird buzzing the deck yesterday, about a month early.

I got rid of a purple Chevy s-10 last year. 1995  4 cylinder 5 speed with 265,000. My kids called it BARNEY!!
