When I was a Boy Scout, my "official" knife had a bottle opener on it.  That probably had something to do with why I was never an Eagle Scout. 

In college, I discovered that the ashtray in my 65 Galaxie had a lip on the back of it that could double as a bottle opener. 

As these videos prove . . . necessity can lead to glass shards  ;)
