If you do your home work you can get great deals on stuff.  The #8 LEM sells for 329.00 all over the place but Academy Sports sells them for 279.00 right now.

So look before you buy cause there are good deals and great deals.   If you spend the time to look and not just jump out and buy.

My wife ordered a Sous Vide Supreme yesterday morning... we have been researching quite a bit on them and quite a bit of shopping around also. We are both very excited to dive right into this method of cooking and playing with working it in with smoking and grilling!

Yep, cooking gadgets and guns eats up my budget, then I have to figure in the Harley, the boat, and the RV.  It's a headache I can live with.  ;)

A colleague of mine has had one for several years, and absolutely loves it.  He said the only drawbacks are storage space, and that you need lift the entire unit to drain the tank, however, those are so minor he can't really even complain.

I've gotten many ideas from this site and have a long list of things I want to try.  Some of them have caused me to buy accessories, etc.  Just placed an order for a set of 4 grillgrates and am really looking forward to cooking on them.   I recently bought  the big easy and acessories, wouldn't mind having an SRG,  a pellet cooker, and a .......... and a ....., and a .......    hey guys does it ever end?   :D

Yup.....when we go to BBQ Heaven!
