While I'm sure many of you have your favorite recipe I thought I would share my quick and easy recipe.
1 c cumin
1/2-1 c brown sugar ( I use the full cup for ribs)
1 tbs. garlic (minced or dried)
3 tbs. lemon pepper
1 tbs kosher salt
3 tbs chili powder (optional)
1-2 tbs paprika (optional)
optional if I have time to dehydrate a couple 1/2-1 tbs dried ground jalapeno
makes enough for a couple butts if used sparingly or a packer. If used on ribs I save any left over rub and add honey and apple juice to it to use as a mop.
