Posted earlier that I was cooking ribs on new Traeger.  When I went from smoke to medium after three hours, the temp went as high as 320.  No way to get it down to low and slow.  Looks like a digital controller is in my future.  They were good but could be better.  Need a better balance between the brown sugar, honey, and sauce.  The pic makes them  look burned but they weren't.

Looks tasty to me! I bought the Ortech controller on Ebay.  Real easy to install and no more guessing at what temp you are at.

Nice bark on those ribs. ;)

No matter which digital controller you settle on you'll be a lot happier with it than the 3 position controller that comes with the Junior.

320 is plenty low and plenty slow for me.  They look real good.

They look pretty good to me.  As to the controller, I know several forum members who changed to one, and canning the 3 position switch.  It opened up a lot of possibilities for cooking.  You won't regret the move.

I like Mike's setup on his..I was eyeing real good at the last gathering..it's just the right size for me cause I'm on the ..well not short..more compact side..lol.  Mike if ya every wanna get rid of it..keep me in mind. You know how well I liked it.  Pam    .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.
