With all my grilling/smoking “toys” I have been neglecting my Grid Iron lately. So I decided to do wings
tonight on the Grid Iron. The wings were marinated for about 8 hours in zesty Italian dressing. I then
seasoned half with Lawry’s Chile & Garlic and the other half with Mo Rockin.
Put onto the Grid Iron using Hickory pellets. The first 30 minutes at 160 then bumped up to 275 to finish.
My wife hits our local Farmer’s Markets quite often. The last time she was there she picked up a couple
packages of stuffed peppers that are made locally. These will be cooked in the oven.
Wings are done. I glazed them with Moore’s Honey BBQ Wing sauce the last 10 minutes in the cooker.
Peppers are done!
Here’s your plate!
The Lawry’s Chile & Garlic is a little saltier than I normally like but it really kicked up the flavor of
the wings. Both sets of wings were great. The Honey BBQ Wing sauce added more heat to the
wings but not enough that it took away from the taste of the chicken. The pepper was tasty but I
think I like doing our own peppers and that way I know exactly what ingredients are in it.
