Pork Loin on the Rec Tec Mini
« Reply #-1 on: January 26, 2017, 06:28:53 PM »
Bacon wrapped pork loin on the Mini. A coat of SPAG then a dusting of Butcher BBQ Premium Rub. Injected with Apple Juice then covered with Bacon. Smoked at 325 degrees for about one and three quarters hours to an internal of 140 degrees. Rested for 30 minutes. Came out juicy and DELICIOUS..

Looks very delicious and I do like roast pork loin.  If you do not mind what sides did you serve.

I had cole slaw and some six cheese, Bob Evans pasta as sides.

Looks simply scrumptious Larry  :P

But do you actually get any noticeable smoke at 325ºF? You might try smoking the pork loin at 180º-210ºF for about an hour first and then bumping your Mini to 325ºF until you reach your desired IT.

I was in a rush, so just let her rip...lol. Next time I will go low and slow for the first part then crank it up.

I agree!!

I've smoked, roasted, baked, etc pork loin roasts all sorts of ways for wonderful results. Pork loins are so reasonably priced when you buy a whole 9-10 lb roast and cut it down to size. After all, variety is the spice of life  8)  8)

I totally agree. That was this case. I bought a big one, cut it in thirds and vacuum sealed the other 2 pieces and froze them. Will do the same with this one. Slice it and seal it for some future dinners.
