I have dipped a stogie in cognac, and allowed it to dry - then fired it up....but this is something different for sure. ;)

I'm sure it's better than one of these:

But I think I'll take my Anejos the way God and Arturo intended them.

I have not had an 858 in a loooong time.  They were a good mid-priced smoke as I recall.  They were one of my go-tos back in the day.  The I got ticked off at the local Tinder Box and, well, have moved on.

Since, on 28 days out 30, I smoke 3 a day, I buy online now.  I'd like to support a local brick-n-mortar, but the one's I've been in lately have inconsistent supplies and exorbitant prices.

Let us know they turned out!

Have you tried Cigars International?

I lived like 30 miles from them and they have a huge selection and they ship.

I found a new cigar lounge bout 18 miles from the RV. They been open for 7 weeks now, nice huys.  bosscigarsllc.com

I've been ordering from CI and Famous for years now.  CI has an offshoot, Cigar.com, that, if you join their cigar-o-the-month program, you get 5 cigars a month, a discount on all regular purchases, and free shipping on order over a certain dollar amount.  I don't know what that amount, but I always order way more.

I tried Thompsons for a short time but found that most of the in house stuff was junk.  I also used to order from JRs when a good friend of mine lived right across the border, in SC.  Nothing quite like having to pay Sales Tax AND Shipping ! ! !  The only thing I still smoke from JRs are FDAA #5s. They're good for went I go out since they are only a little bigger than a cigarette and I get through one in about 10-15 minutes.
