Well, here is the money shot of my home-cooked dinner.  A sous vide prepped tri-tip (7 hours at 130) and my homemade Caesar salad.  The tri-tip was succulent, juicy, flavorful (original Top Secret) and totally tender.  I may have left it on the grill just a little too long.  The extra cocktail may have been the reason.  Great Birthday meal.  The leftovers will be wonderful!!
