Franklin BBQ
« Reply #-1 on: October 21, 2014, 07:56:59 PM »
Found my self today in Austin, TX today for work. I had never been to Franklin BBQ. My meeting didn't get done until 1:45, so I raced over afterwards.

At that point the line was a 30 minute wait, they were out of Turkey and PP.

IF I  could just get the brisket.....I would be happy.

Well I just made it to get some food before they ran out.  :)

Ordered ribs and fatty brisket. The ribs were good, not the best I have ever had.

Now the brisket was incredible. Crazy moist and beautiful. Easily the best I have ever had.

Great day

I've always heard about 3 hour waits in line at Franklins.  Some people have told me that some people hire "line waiters" off of craig's list to wait the 3 hours for them.

My son told me there is a spinoff/splitoff place from Franklins in Austin now...only problem is it also has 3 hour waits.
