OMG I am really hurting today!

Was tough to get up but now that I am moving around it is not so bad.

Next year I need to get some long distance runs in before I do it again ::)

After a long distance run like that sitting still is the worse thing one can do, I find it best to keep moving around and standing.

A few long distance runs for practice prior to the event definitely helps.

LVC is correct, you need a few long runs between 8 and 10 miles leading up to the race. But not matter what you finished and now you need think about the 26.2. I have been thinking about doing another one but not sure my knees can hold up. Congrats to you both you and your wife.

I have thought about doing the full marathon but it would take so much dedication to get to that level. I just don't have the time between work and family to get the running in lately and so I suffered a bit today.

I think the half marathon is a nice little run and good enough for now ;)

I usually get in a few 10-12 mile runs leading up to a half marathon, if I don't I suffer too.

I also would love to do a full marathon but with all the other things going on I barely have time to train for the half, so I just do my half's and enjoy what I can do.
