Yah I think my cowboy days are in the past. last time I was on a horse It took off on me and I dang near got clothes lined by a tree branch and then seconds later the horse in front of me lost a shoe and it went wizzing by my head at Mach III. That was the last time I dawned a pair of chaps.

I've got several friends that I ride with who will wear them anytime it's below 50°, but, so far, I have resisted the temptation! ! ! !

I only wear mine when it gets close to the freezing mark, they help a lot in cold weather but can be a PIA to wear.

I have ridden horses since I was child. Worked with hem as a teen for several years. Owned many and miss them now.
I have my share of guns and for many years I have wanted an 44 lever action. So I finally got one last week. A Marlin 1894.  Hope to get at least a couple hogs this year with it.
