I found a use for leftover turkey
« Reply #-1 on: January 08, 2015, 06:57:51 PM »
We had some smoked turkey left from Thanksgiving in the freeze,r and decided to try something new with it.  My wife had seen a commercial on TV that she put to use today.   She put some boxed Pillsbury Grand bisquits in a muffin pan and filled them with a mixture of turkey, diced potatoes, tiny garden peas (Muebe can substitute something else) , onion, a can of cream of chicken soup, and topped with cheese.  Put it in the oven at 350 for about 20 minutes.  They were very tasty.

So she just put one biscuit in a muffin cup and put the mixture on top, filling the cup?

Then the biscuits baked and "captured" the mixture so it can be eaten like finger food?

Are they okay cold?

She flattened the biscuits and then stretched and shaped them to the muffin plan.  You can remove them and after coolong a bit, you can eat them as you would a muffin.  However, I plated them and used a fork.  Don't  know how they would be cold.   I personally don't  care for cold cooked meat and veggies.
