Did a 15K yesterday and it was a great day for a run. My 1st mile was 7:45. I haven't done a sub 8 mile since my young days in the Corps. Finished with a 9:20 average.

Not only congrats on completing the 15k but also for an average of 9:20.  Way to and hitting the first k at 7:45 is right up there.  Good inspiration for my cycling.

Holy Cow Art! I think you are older than me and you are out there doing sub 8 minute miles? It takes me nearly that long to walk to the mailbox and back.

Not Me.  This was RAD, I attempting to quote RAD and I must have screwed up the post.

RAD that is great. My good mile is just at 8 minutes. Great job. I will stick to half marathons myself. I don't plan on doing a full.... ever :)

I don't blame you, the commitment to run a full far exceeds that of a half and we want to see you around here on LTBBQ. ;)

Thanks everyone and like I said I have the half next month and have only, only been thinking about a full. It takes a lot out of your body and I'm not sure it's worth the effort. I did one way, way, way back in '93 in my mid twenties still in the Marines and I did it in 3:44, no way I could even come close to that today.
