Got a question for some of you LPG guys

I have a fairly new 30lb LPG tank that has a busted valve. If i crack the side nut and get all the propane out can i replace the valve?

Yes you can just make sure the new valve is OPD compliant.

Use some thread sealant like slic-tite or yellow PTFE tape.
