Darn tasty healthy supper on the PK Grill

What makes this dinner so cool is that everything came from the .99 cent store produce dept and the salmon was fresh caught frozen, 4 pcs for 5.99  8)

Seasoned some yellow squash with Gary's and Garlic Garni and grilled em up quick


After that we took some seasoned portabellos with WOW and grilled em 3 minutes each side


Wendy added some sauteed green onions and spinach to the gill side of the portabellos


Cheese please


Added the cook more 1/2 grate and set the shrooms on it and put the salmon underneath. The salmon was seasoned heavily with WOW and packed with brown sugar on top. Tossed some hickory/maple/apple/cherry chips for smokey smokey


20 minutes later, I think we got something  :P :P


Plated up with some mountain beer and some garden salads with chunks of fried bacon and Wendys homemade ranch dressing

Couple questions:
  • How do I find a $.99 store produce department? Dang none around here!
  • How do you catch a frozen salmon? Do you freeze your lures????

Recently the .99 cent stores around here added a produce dept and canned goods and boxed items. We do most of shopping there now and then hit Stater Bros for everything else.........we really cut down on our grocery expenses this way............

I think the salmon was frozen after it was wild caught  ;) ;) ;D

The door is always open for you D-Holly  :)
