Saturday @ Lost Arrow turned cold & rainy & the 3 people eating turned into 6!
Fixed crockpot Spambayala , I keep dried peppers, onions , celery , chicken stock , tomatoes on my shelves.
Had left over partially cooked leg quarters , someone always has deer sausage .
I've an 8 qt crockpot for hunt camp ( biggest I could find)
11:00 AM chicken, & veggies go in, chicken deboned at 2:30 , tomatoes , broth & Spam added.
Go hunting, & back at 6:30 add rice , garlic powder & Tony's cajun seasoning.
30 min before eating add sausage served at 8:15 with garlic bread & salad!
Really tasty.
Disclaimer , got a couple picks as putting on BUT one of the guys brought a cheap GALLON of Chianti & between 6:30 & 8:30 I had a little & forgot to take pictures
