Kombucha
I been reading allot on it and after drinking 8 store bought bottles at $4 a pop....Hey why not just make it.

Going with the recipe i boiled my water, added the sugar and did the steep with 4 black tea bags.
After the tea cooled i took the bags out and poured into a large glass container. Here is where you will need to add the store bought kombucha.
I gave the bottle a gentle shake to get the goodies from the bottom into my vessel.
Yes this is normal to have something floating. This will help make the scoby.
As like any fermentation you need to keep the critters away. Her i put a large coffee filter over the top and sprayed with white vinegar, this will keep em out and eliminate any mold growth.
Now into my dark sausage hanging space. Will check every week for 4 weeks.
