The Auburn Tigers had a fantastic football season and unfortunately they had a couple of defensive misques you can't have at that level of competition. There were many happy and sad at the same time Auburn fans at various parties around Alabama watching the championship game.
Unfortunately, there was a sad accident on the way home from one of the Auburn game parties. There were six Auburn fans riding home in a pickup when the driver was distracted and ran into creek on the way home and three died. The three fellas riding in the cab of the truck were able to open the doors and escape. Sadly, the three in the truck bed drown...they couldn't get the tailgate down.
