Pam it's -2F right now, but just seeing your pics and reading the feedback on one of your specialties sure warms the soul!  :)

Well..breakfast is over for me..I made the cathead biscuits with lard...a walnuts sized piece of lard, next time smaller walnut,  cut it in with my hands, added pinch'o salt and buttermilk. I was sposed to have a clean bowl and hands when done with biscuits...didn't happen.  It's the old Southern way I guess. Mixed up TentHunters recipe for the ground pork that I ground the other day. Fried it up, note to self, get fatter loin, had to add a bit of bacon grease to sausage..I can handle that.  I like my sausage gravy thick and biscuits were heaven. Tommy this is for you and Terry.  Pammie  .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

That looks mighty tasty on this 19 degree morning in N Texas. You might try a pork butt/shoulder next time, I find they give a better fat to meat ratio for sausage.

Thanks..I will try that..I just used what I had already, still learning..waiting for pork to on sale again. I just added a  lil bacon grease, didn't hurt it a bit.  LOL   .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

Looks wonderful Pam! It's 11F right now but with a steady 20 mph wind it's a windchill of -14. It's warming up to snow this wknd then highs of below zero Mon and Tues.  I could use some hot biscuits and gravy!   ???
