Actually the cost of hydro is not all that bad, its the delivery charge and the ontario hydro debt reduction charge that makes up more than 3/4 of my bill. Last winter with the hotub going my average bill was 280 bucks for a month, now with it not running I average 120.  ::)

If we actually got snow here I would think about getting one. Loved the hot tub as a kid in Utah. Get in then snow angles then back into the tub.  Good times.

When we stay on beach we will use the hot tub but I have to keep getting out and cool off in the pool and then I go back in, I get hot and cool off in the pool, vicious cycle. ;D

Hot tub in winter is fun, that is nice looking settup.  I like the mood lighting.   My neighbor has a hot tub night about twice a month.

We don't say utility company or power company. The company that supplies power here is called Manitoba Hydro. We short that to Hydro ;D

Thanks - ours is about $300/mo... I don't know how many KHW that is without going to look at the bill.

Our tub has sprung a leak, I need to get the repairman out here.
