Just received my grillgrates. The instructions say to use grill spray or canola oil sparingly the first couple of times. Is the way most of you seasoned the grates?

I used peanut oil on mine. But it only needs it the first few cooks.

I used PAM and just wiped it in with a paper towel. After the first cook, it was pretty well seasoned.
