Juicy chops
« Reply #-1 on: February 18, 2014, 08:38:04 PM »
Cooked some pork chops with Cajun seasoning on my new grillgrates tonight.  I can truthfully say that I have never had chops cooked
on a grill that were anywhere near as juicy as these.  Had to really think hard about dropping almost $100 on grates when I had replaced them with cast iron grates a couple years ago.  However I am now a believer.

I have thin inexpensive cast iron grates on a grill, very thick close spaced cast iron & a set of grill grates.
The grill grates in my opinion are better than wire grates or thin cast iron, but I prefer the thick cast iron
Searing is similar but the cast iron is more nonstick for fish & fragile items.

Pork chops with Cajun seasoning and they turned out juicy, I'll take a serving of that anytime. ;)

Sound really good, I guess Dee was over your house and in charge of the pictures  ;)

Glad the grates did a good job for you.   I know there kinda $ but they will last a life time where others wont so really they are very inexpensive in the long run

I love mine and would not go back to what I had.
