I'm in the process of searching for some folks to remodel my kitchen and build a deck/screen porch/outdoor cooking area.
The other day I had a fellow over and every few minutes he would say, "Excuse me." and then go to the edge of my house and holler toward the yard next door, "GREEN SIDE UP!" and then return to our conversation.
After I he did this three times I finally asked him, "What in the world are you doing? Are you painting or building something next door? Why are you going and yelling 'Green side up?''"
He replied, "Oh, I'm sorry and didn't mean to be rude and I should have told you. I have some Auburn University agriculture students next door sodding your neighbors yard and I have to periodically remind them which side of the sod faces up."
