Been enjoying steamed Sweet Potatoes and sweet potato fries but had yet to bake any. Decided to run a test of the MAK vs the SRG. Been baking potatoes in the SRG for a long time with great results so I decided to use the same recipe on the sweet potatoes.
Scrubbed the sweet potatoes and dried them. Rubbed them with Roasted Garlic EVOO and seasoned them with salt & pepper. Poked the taters with a fork. Baked the MAK sweet potatoes at 400ºF and the SRG sweet potatoes on HIGH with the lid open. Both took just a little over an hour to reach an IT of 210ºF.

Although the MAK sweet potatoes look charred on the outside they were just as scrumptious on the inside as the SRG sweet potatoes. Now I know I can bake and enjoy me some sweet taters on the road with the GMG Davy Crockett cause I don't have room to transport the SRG.
