Nice mess of bream LA! You can spend tens of thousands of dollars on bass boats and fancy fishing gear and not have near as much fun as catching a nice mess of bluegills with simple equipment.

Blue Gills, Sunnies, Crappies, Brim, Bream... whatever you have - pan fish are excellent. Fried over a fire is the best - no need for beer batter - some flour S&P and lard... mmm mmm good. Or boil them and dip in melted butter - they call them poor man's lobster. Don't taste like lobster, but are so good!
You can't catch a fish if you don't get a line wet...
