John Henry Rubs
« Reply #-1 on: October 22, 2014, 04:05:01 PM »
I am a huge fan of their rubs, and they are largely unavailable in Minnesota. Since I was now in Houston.....time for a visit.

Arrived 30 minutes before they opened as I didn't think to check that. JH employee was outside doing something, and asked me if I wanted into the store early.....heck ya! (BTW in Minnesota they would never do that)

What a great store! Lot more then rubs. Can't take sauce on the plane....but rubs I can.

The maple sugar rub is the family favorite. So I bought 5 pounds 8)

Trying their new maple bacon rub too.

As a side note, the people of Texas are as nice as you will find anywhere. Better than Minnesota nice.

Toll booth lady said I looked nice today. ???

We have Friends here in Iowa that carry John Henrey products in there Grill/BBQ store.  I guess 10.5 and I are spoiled.  They even order 5 pound bags for me because of the volume I use.
