I cut them in pairs. The end piece could end up with three which I will grab so no one else has to deal with that.. :o
Entirely depends on the company as well. If its just us guys you can cut your own...

I always cook at least two slabs when smoking. I cut mine up, sometimes I will cut them in to two bone sections, but mostly one bone. I always leave the extra rack whole and vacuum pack them down for later meals.

I usually cut mine into one bone slices as I think it makes for a better presentation.

This posts reminds me of another method of cooking ribs I have used in the past as the results give you more bark and the ribs come out kind of crusty...might be something to try on your next cook.

I call this the "Stack and Pile" rib method.

The ribs are cut up before smoking.

A fellow needs to stir them once in a while to be sure they get done evenly.

Ribs sure do come out nice.

It does take a little longer to cook but a fellow can sure get a lot of ribs in a small space.

I like to cut my ribs, but I also don't worry if they're cut perfectly.

This posts reminds me of another method of cooking ribs I have used in the past as the results give you more bark and the ribs come out kind of crusty...might be something to try on your next cook.

I call this the "Stack and Pile" rib method.

Great reminder, Dave!  I've done this method too, and love it...  not to mention it involves strips of bacon! 8)

I picked it up from an old BBQ Pit Boys video a few years back.

Hello Pam,

Jan, Barney, and Rambo are getting along fine this Winter. Like you, we have had a ton of cold weather and snow. Spring is getting close....

We eat with our eyes first. I cut them as neatly as possible.

I do the same - another reason for me is that we usually pile them on a platter because rib night at our house is a whole family affair and it is easier for everyone to take the portion they want.

No matter how you do it - there is no wrong way to eat ribs  :P :P :P :P

That just about sums it up.

I do slice mine up, to make it easier for the guests if nothing else.

Now if I think I'm going to have significant leftovers, I will just cut those rack in half.  That way, when I'm reheating them, they won't dry out as much - at least that what my mind tell me ! ! !
