Kimmie and I found out we were going to be first time grandparents a few months back but the kids didn't want the news out til they made sure all was going well. 

So in a couple of months I will have "Rhett Micheal" here to help Paw-paw out with the cooking  :D :D :D

Already have and SRG with his name on it when he is ready  ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

Congrats Tommy!...Soon, you will learn one of the greatest joys a man can have in life......revenge on his kids!!! :D :D :D :D It is fun to play with, spoil, and feed the grandkids lots of sugar...then send them home to the parents with a note pinned to them - saying..." I told you to be good when you were a kid...this is for that time that you...etc- :D :D :D :D

Congrats to both you and Kimmie,
The kid couldn't have better grandparents. However, at the right point in his life you need to send him to a counselor to explain that some things are good as is and not everything needs to be modified.

 Don't worry T, Teach him how to modify things and design things where some actual thought is involved.   We need some engineers who can actually use what they design.

Congratulations to the two of you!    I'll second all the previous comments made.   Grandkids are absolutely wonderful to have.   Our oldest is now married, so thinking our next step will be greats!   BUT, I hope not too soon--they have some things that SHOULD occur before they start having babies, IMHO.    Enjoy and spoil em rotten.   That's why God gives us grandkids.
