Are you sure you are not my neighbor? I have had 4 grills, usually cheaper ones because I never had much $$ to spend.
One was a gift a few years ago - great grill and could get over 400 degrees in matter of minutes (my dad's version of the grill could never get over 350, no matter how long it was on!). Unfortunately, my wife decided to use it. She cranked it up on high, all 4 burners - put on pork chops and let it ride while she got sides going. Came back down to it in flames - said it was 5 minutes (was more like 30 the way my daughters told the story). When I took a look - the chops were charcoal and everything else inside was as well. Replacement parts would have cost almost the same as another grill.
I now have a Smoke Hollow 3 in one. Rusting like crazy even though I hit it with high temp paint.
Go with the Weber - I wish I had! For me, the next one will either be the Genesis or maybe Memphis Advantage (I will need something that can straight up grill!) I am holding out until I can get either my deck built though.
