We have two so called millennial generation daughters. They didn't get to pick their parents so we raised them our way! One is a nurse, the other an accountant. We are proud of both of them not so much for their chosen fields but rather for the responsible adults they have become. So much focus is on the goal and not so much about how you act getting there!

True Gene...
I have had job applicants that strut in with a copy of a degree from one of many fine universities...and they have an "expectancy". They expect that because they have learned about the world in "theory" ( how we are taught from textbooks is theory) that should equate to
experience.... ( what we learn AFTER we practice the theories we learned from books
)
And - there is the expectation that one can graduate college - and start off making $100,000 a year.
. THAT is a rare situation indeed.
I sent out my personal diatribe to some of you via e-mail.
