I am so Happy for ya Gene! I feel blessed that you included us in all of this and am just thrilled that everything went good. Those pics of her as well as Pam's grandbabies makes me miss my kids being little I hope to be a Grandpa one day too! Can't wait!

I want to take the time to thank those who voiced their understanding, wished us well, had good thoughts, and kept us in their prayers. You folks are truly what family means! And it does make a difference. Example, our local hospital has no neo-natal unit for preemies, and the dr's thoughts were that after Emily gave birth to Harper, the little one would need to be flown to Peoria, an hour away by car, and Emily would stay behind. That would have been very difficult for her. But through the miracle of prayer,  it's very likely mother and child will be going home this Friday! For all the complications....things could not have turned out better! So I want to thank the following people....you DID make a difference and we thank you for your kindness!!!! :thumbup:

Just found this thread, been on and off the site in short burst due to sitting with father in-law.  He is pretty bed ridden and really has a lot of issues from pace maker to diabetes to dementia   and last night took a turn for the worse we thought and is in the hospital now running test.  Kimmie has been up there all day and her mom has not slept in 28 hrs 

 Again, congrats and sorry I didn't see this til now :-[
