Really going to stretch your patience with me. Most of the meat I buy like from RD are for future use. So I bring them home and freeze them. If I got a bad piece of meat to begin with, and freeze it, would I know it is bad?

I there was one, I could not find it. I think the dates are on the cases, and not on the labels or packages.

Look for the (3) digit # on the label ex: 010 = Jan. 10th 312 = Dec. 12th I always check for the # on the label and try to get the freshest possible meat.
