Mak Salisbury Steak and Taters
« Reply #-1 on: July 11, 2013, 07:00:29 PM »
Got inspired by a post from last week. Used a recipe from the pioneer woman. Not sure if I can post somebody else's recipe without the NSA paying me a visit.  And I don't want to get sideways with Smoke or Smoochy.

Decided to pull out the Mak griddle.....haven't used it in a while. This was a good choice. Perfect tool for this meal.

Made some buttermilk smashed taters. If you look really close, you can see chives in the taters. I am calling that the vegetable for this meal.

First time making Salisbury steak. And this recipe was really excellent. Very tasty. I did no modifications to it. Whole family raved. Daughter said it was better then her school serves. ???

Looks fantastic Pappy! Love Salisbury steak. And there is enough greenery on the plate with the chives for me ;)

Looks great, Pappy. I have always said that chives (green onions, parsley, and basil) count as vegetables! Great pics and a super looking meal. Besides you had the taters, onions and shrooms going for you. I think you are well covered on the veg front,
