Time to cook again
« Reply #-1 on: December 24, 2013, 08:05:03 PM »
I got the Memphis cleaned up and ready to go for my first cook at the new place. Going to grill some Carne Asada.

She looks good there ;)

I haven't cooked it yet.

Unicorn has to marinate for several hours or it will end up tough 8)

That Memphis looks like it made the trip just fine. It's all shiny as the day you got it!

Now get it fired up and a little dirty so we can look at your good food!

Merry Christmas, Mike and family.

You may need to use your marinade machine for that unicorn.  Watching this one.

Here is the Unicorn on the grill at 550F...

Almost done...

Finished ;)

Meat was cut across the grain and into tortillas with all the standard fixings. Felt good to finally cook something again!

I used the horn to scrape the grill :)

Now that looks darn tasty. Did you get it prepared or did you season it yourself?

Funny how unicorn meat doesn't look magical. Looks like any other meat you would eat. ;) :D
Looks good though.
