Hanging in pretty good for a geezer. Had wing problems recently, (rotor cuff) but I've been to that rodeo before, so no surprises. Not doing much comping this season, last one was Labor Day in Myrtle Beach with Billy Merrill's Holy Smoke BBQ team. Finished in the middle of 48 Quers. The KCBS circuit is getting very competitive. 550 teams at the Open in KC a few weeks ago.

Hope you and your bride will make it this way, one day. The low country steamed oysters await you and of course, OD's shrimp and grits!  ;D

We finally got settled in at our new house in Cedarpines Park. It amazes me that we are only an hours and a half drive from the crap-hole we used to live in. We really did not want such a big house but it was 40,000 cheaper than smaller houses we were looking at . In 2007, it sold for over 400,000 before the real estate crash. Crestline got hit really hard and we got it for 140,000. Wendy fell in love with the place and I wanted her to have her dream home. Now we just gotta find some jobs  ???

Yes Sir Pappy, I got all my charcoal in the shed. Under our rear deck is a aluminum shed that I have half a cord of firewood in. Our neighbor two doors down supplies firewood to all of us. He has pine and oak. He told me if I ever need oak splits for my BBQ to just let him know. I was thinking of an off-set, but it will too chilly most of the time to set by a pit so I figure the PBC will do most of the heavy lifting. ;)
