LA, it seems pretty stout. They had a Weber Silver there and I kinda kicked the tires on both and could not honestly say the Weber was better build quality wise.

BANISHED!  this is strike 2.  1st was the tenderrub fiasco and no you speak against the family.  we don't talk about the family to strangers.  do you want to take a walk out back and talk to Antonio?  i didn't think so.  bad smoke......

I don't think there is a bbq out there that has been copied as much as the Weber Kettle. The Weber kettle has been in Americas back yards since 1952.

If you ask a kid to draw a picture of a bbq grill, more often than not, they will draw the kettle shape. It is the classic American BBQ Grill.

That is so true. And if you look at the ceramic technology available today, look at the shape. I think that if Weber put a double wall on their kettle and the lid, they could give the ceramic grills a run for their money. And they could probably send it to market for hundred less.

Wow ... Stok is made by the same company that makes Ryobi tools.  If Ryobi starts making beer then they can pretty much control my backyard ...

Ryobi does make some great power tools.

But that same argument can be made for LG. Great televisions but terrible refrigerators. Same with Samsung. Avoid their fridges also
