CharBroil site gone forever ??
« Reply #-1 on: August 26, 2014, 09:54:21 AM »
Well I went looking for a recipe on the CharBroil site and it's no longer there.     Every time I went to the site it's not there

Tee, looks like they should have taken your offer of adding their info to this site .

Once again, that's the reason I bailed out when I did, no one there gives a rip about that forum.

All that great info gone forever??  That's a shame :(

The posts may still be retrievable.....

It will require pressure from YOU guys to see if Char-Broil understands what they are losing. If not....well - what does that say about how they value their hard-core users and supporters?

I don't feel very positive about this outcome. CB has been showing what they think of their loyal followers/supporters.
NOT MUCH!
It is sad, but we are all bigger than that site and are not just happy to be HERE, we are PROUD to call this place HOME!
Thank you Tim!

Could be the server/site is just having issues.

If they completely closed it that is too bad. There was a wealth of information there.

As I recall, the closing announcement said that it would not be possible to retrieve information after June 10, 2014.  Salvaging the posts was discussed here.

That's some recipes,  but nothing in the way of user advice or showing what we did with these cookers.

To me the only reason I went daily to that forum was to see what others were cooking and how they did the cooks not just recipes.

Thanks for posting the site cause there recipes to have
