I like my Shun - if they need sharpening, I can send them in the US and they do it free (I just pay postage.)

Give me a good old carbon steel blade with a nice hefty wooden handle and I will sharpen it as often as I need too.  Sharpening a knife is actually relaxing and cool to me.

I believe it's roughly $138 for the chef, santoku, or kitchen knives and $78 for the smaller paring knife.   8)
