Oh, how many times I've done focused on the end rather the getting there.  I think we outdoor cooks enjoy the journey of our cooks more than we do the eating on our part.  Of course, the journey is enhanced by the smiles and "aahhhhh's " when our friends and family bite into our cooks.  Dee

I agree, the ooh's and ah's bring more pleasure to me than eating the food (and I find pleasure in eating)  :D :D :D

Hard to beat cooking at church for 1700 folks and having them say how good the food is and looking forward to the next cook
