Mar 25 2015

I went to Sandman’s carry out yesterday for a beer run and came home with an extra treat! A friend had given him some venison bologna and he shared some with me. Some was the round regular size and some was small summer sausage size. Both had cheese in it but the smaller had jalapenos and it was pretty hot.

I would have never thought of looking for venison bologna but thanks to Sandman I had a chance to try some. It was delicious! Today for my lunch I made a sandwich using my peasant bread and had mustard and a slice of sweet onion on it. I had to break out a good beer to have with it too.  I could eat one of those often!! Thanks Sandman!

I figure if any other members have ever had any or made some maybe nepas or TenPoint5, two of our good sausage makers and meat curers.

Looks good Don but you did not give it a quick pan fry?

Love my Bologna just a little bit fried.
