Hi all. Thank for having me as a part of your forum. I've always loved BBQ food and grilling, but being that I live in the Boston area there's a distinct lack of good BBQ around these parts. We've got a few decent BBQ restaurants but I came to realize a long time ago that if I needed good Q I was going to have to make it myself. It started with a BBQ class through my local adult education program in town. It was taught by one of the chefs at a local BBQ place (Blue Ribbon BBQ) and I learned a TON. When I moved to my house about 3 years ago, I bought two things - 1. a Weber Genesis for grilling and 2. a ECB for smoking. As you might imagine as my passion for BBQ grew, the ECB became something that was making things more difficult. So, about a year ago I bought a PBC. Wow! What a great smoker. A few months ago, I replaced the cooking grates in my Weber with GrillGrates. So, now I'm setup really well. I'm looking forward to reading all the great advice on here and hopefully being a part of the discussion. Thanks again for having me.
