Been going with the Old Smokey a lot lately. This week I made some short ribs. Bought a package of uncut ribs.
Trimmed the fat, added some yellow mustard, gunpowder rub, garlic powder, pepper.
Rubbed and ready for the smoker.
Lit a small batch of charcoal in the chimney. Put a charcoal "snake" with some apple chunks and some hickory pellets sprinkled in.
Bought a box of these to start the charcoal. Sure works better than stuffing the chimney with paper.
Ribs on the grill.
Buttoned up and cooking away.
Near the end I added some seasoned asparagus.
Did some corn on the cob in the SRG. Here is a plate.
So another Old Smokey adventure complete.
