Being non-Christian and having "some Texas hidden here in my heart" I can back you to the hilt (except during the not insignificant time periods dedicated to my daily "pothole prayers" in support of Lost Arrow).

Do you also have a Caribbean soul you can barely control?

I will be rooting for Texas, only because the ND fans around here are worse than the michigan fans. BTW did anyone  see who is ranked number 1?

I will be pulling for the Longhorns with you and you can believe Deb will, too.

By the way, is the call to prayers going by Island time or Jackson time?

I've been going on the theory that praying at about 10PM Hawaii time might stand a better chance of success since the lines should be open. I'm assuming all the pothole and "(bar) closing time" prayers in Jackson should be completed by 3AM their time.

I'm surprised Pammie didn't answer this one real quick. Of course it has to be Ohio State. Notre Dame is #11. Texas has yet to achieve a rank in the top 25 this year. Thanks for your support.

Jaxon, good thought. We used to do that, but now we do one better with onscreen timing and scoring graphics almost constantly. Keep in mind that I will be the only one in the truck that will want Texas to win so my "valuable and insightful" input will be pretty much ignored anyway. I'm kinda fighting a loosing battle before the game even starts.

I'm betting Texas has hotter cheerleaders and that no one in the truck will argue about zooming in on them (so to speak).

That was last year. Of course when your schedule only includes 1 ranked opponent (# 20 I think) it is not difficult to run the table.  Roll Tide!!! (Gee- I missed football season trash talking. Especially since I had to keep my mouth shut the last few months due to that team from Ohio.)
