Hi guys i don't know if this is the right place to post this if not please move it .
I started to play with Vacuum Compression ,and found it very interesting .
I know it is not a BBQ or grilling but I thought it will be Interesting for some especially if you got a in chamber vacuum sealer .(i use a vacmaster vp112 ) .
The things that you can do with vacuum to fruit and vegetables is mind blowing .
Did few test and it come out amazing totally surprised my friends .
you can change or enhance the density ,the colour and the flavour .
At this time i tried in a vacuum bag or in a container.
For the tomatoes i made an olive oil infused with garlic . first try was in a vacuum bag . it got the the flavor of the oil & garlic and become transparent . then i put it in a container now it turned darker with a strong flavour of garlic .
The pepper i put in a container with a mix of olive oil and white balsamic vinegar .
this time it turned darker and got the flavour of the mix.
Now for some fruit apples and coconut .
The apples i put in a vacuum bag with home-made cherry liqueur .
Can't believe it . it turned transparent and with a flavour of cherry .
The coconut i put with Japanese sake it come out as pina colada liquor .
There are more things i want to try to do . it is a great trick to surprise friends at a dinner or the game .
