First cook on Big Red
« Reply #-1 on: October 20, 2015, 01:53:52 PM »
Ran the grill at 400F for 30 min to burn off bad things on new grates & bars.
Marinated a 1 & 1/2 lb porterhouse in Italian , Lea&Perrins, & a couple splashes liquid smoke.
Fired grill on high , hood temp pegged!
5 min on each side .
Cut filet off for wife , cut strip off & ate part , but main part I wanted was the very meaty bone !
Wow!
