I'm approaching my 85 birthday and have been grilling all my life. I worked for DOD for 34 years at the Aerospace Guidance Center. I've lived in Michigan, Ohio, Florida, and Texas. Boated much of my life and had a 32 foot cabin cruiser on Lake Erie and have had numinous motor homes and other campers.
Ive used gas,charcoal and wood to BBQ and I've just purchased a Char-Broil SRG to try my hand at IR cooking. My only other grill I have now is a Weber Smokey Mountain. I assembled an automatic temperature controller for the draft that does a great job of holding temperature.
