Apparently missed this thread when I was on the mainland. Best soft shell in NOLA used to be at Uglesich's (closed after Katrina) although Jacques Imo does a great job with their "Godzilla" entree (a fried soft shell soaring off a stack of fried green tomatoes).
LA - Only one little crab? I expected better of you (although I suspect the lovely "Ms. T," one or both of her daughters, and K-Paul's prices all influenced your ordering). Guess we better have a little "discussion" at the soft shell po'boy booth next JazzFest.
