Tornado too Close to Home
« Reply #-1 on: February 03, 2016, 09:06:28 PM »
We got hit by a tornado around 5:00 PM.  Lots of damage on the Fort Stewart area and fortunately no one got hurt.  I live about 10 miles from
Fort Stewart and the winds and rain were heavy.  Right now it is real calm and peaceful out. The weather channel shows we are due for heavy rain, winds and
thunder boomers the rest of the night so it may be a long evening. Here is a video that was captured of the tornado on Fort Stewart.

I know this is probably nothing big for the Alabama and Midwest members but we aren't used to it here.  ;)

Looks like a bad one to me Mike and we have seen our share over here in Alabama. I know one hit in west Alabama yesterday but we are up in the Seattle area and I haven't seen much news about it. Glad you were safe.
